Fancy LinkedIn Code Snippets

Over the last few days, I’ve found myself doom-scrolling LinkedIn quite a bit. Soooooooo many “I’ve been laid off” posts. Oof.

In between all the sad news though, I started noticing a lot of fancy looking images of code snippets.

Those code snippets were presented in pleasant color palettes, clean and readable fonts, and were color graded appropriately based on the programming language.

I thought to myself,

Ooh, that’s so fancy.

Turns out it’s really not hard to put together at all.

There are a bunch of free tools scattered about that enables the generation of these visuals of code snippets.

The one that clicked well with me is from Carbon.

Just make some formatting selections, drop in some code, and bam.

Now I get to pepper my LinkedIn feed with elegantly designed code snippets, rather than non-monotype jumbles of text.
